I missed this one

Another award...and I missed it!! Now I have to redo the maths - this one was, literally, the first award I've ever received.

Thanks, Bonnie. I'm soooo sorry I missed it. I was out of town that week without internet access and when I got back, I thought I'd caught up on all the messages but somehow I missed this one.

:) ah, but I have it now. (I'm going to have a little think about who to give this award to...)

Here's the award:

This award came from Bonnie aka The Maltese Scrapper. Here is her blog http://bonniecarter.blogspot.com Bonnie does amazing photo extractions. Go check them out on her blog.

Now the Rules to this award:

1. Put the logo on your blog or post.

2. Nominate at least 10 blogs ( if you haven't got 10 on your list, it really doesn't matter)which show great Attitude and/or Gratitude!

3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.

4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.

5. Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you received your award.

TLC Award

This award which I received I am passing on to someone for whom I have the highest respect. She is kind, thoughtful and caring. Her blog definitely practises TLC so here's an award for you, Jenn.

Friendship Award

I am awarding this Friendship Award to three awesome designers whose help I have greatly appreciated:

Kim Broedelet www.kimbsdesigns.blogspot.com

Manu B www.manu-scraps.blogspot.com

Rhonda Radcliffe www.eyeinspire.com/blog

Go check out their blogs!

Pleased as Punch

Yesterday I received not one, but TWO, awards here on my blog. These are the first awards I've ever received, so I was a bit awe-struck...and very pleased, I might add!

They both came by way of a buddy who is also a designer at Bouquet Of Pixels - Vicki Deane. This is Vicki's blog - http://digilovers-addiction.blogspot.com/ - go check it out. Thanks sooo much, Vicki, for choosing me... (Vicki is an Aussie too!! Go the Aussies!!!)

Well, the first award is the Friendship Award (second pic). I now have to pass that award on to three others. I think these will go to three digi designers who have been very helpful to me -

Kim Broedelet - kimbsdesigns.blogspot.com
Manu B - manu-scraps.blogspot.com
Rhonda Radcliffe - www.eyeinspire.com/blog

Check out their blogs - they are awesome designers!

I'm still thinking about the TLC award...I'll come back to that one later. I'm off to work now.

Hugs

Special event

Today, there's a Speed Scrap at Bouquet of Pixels. If you have time to join in, I'm sure it will be tons of fun. Hey - check out the half price Christmas stuff too!

Don't you hate paperwork?

A couple of days ago, my email provider announced that they were 'closing their doors'. So I duly changed to another email provider, hence changing my email address. I contacted everyone in my address book - that was easy.

I now have to change my details on so many of the websites I visit and with companies who send me stuff electronically. It is taking so much time out of my day - and I keep finding more and more and I'm sure I'm going to miss some.

We have to deal with 'change of address' in the physical world, but somehow I think that changing addresses in the cyber world is even worse. While technology has shrunk our world, it's also allowed us to connect with a much broader spectrum of people and businesses and in that sense, my world, at least, has expanded! Arghhh...back to tracking down some place where I need to change my details...

Happy New Year

Another year has begun. 2008 just seemed to slip out the door and 2009 crept in while I was sleeping on New Year's Eve. "Seeing the New Year in" is something I don't 'do' anymore. I'd never stay awake long enough - but I am up bright and early to greet the first day of the year anyway.

I wish everyone who may visit my blog, a safe, happy and yes, a prosperous year in 2009. (I don't think 'prosperous' necessarily means making heaps of money either. I think we can prosper in other ways.)

I've been busy over the past few days doing my contributions to some collaborative kits in the stores I sell my designs through. I've also made some sales, so that has been very encouraging.

My next kit is coming together in my head and soon I'll start putting it together on the computer. It will be a good one for February, I think...that's all the hint I'm giving at this stage - hehehe.

Now I'm going to try to add a new banner to my blog.
That's all for now...
